Hi I just got my lift and tint last week. I feel they aren’t curled enough or dark enough. It seems like I don’t have lashes. But, when I had applied my own mascara before lift and tint was done, my lashes were long. So why can’t the tint and lift show how long they are now. I feel like it was a waste or that maybe not done correctly. Idk. What do you think

The before after effect is phenomenal.
Are you still do lash lifts?
I can see that many people love having their lashes lifted in summer.

I get my lashes lifted and tinted, and I love it, but I still wear mascara on days I’m wearing makeup – I have blonde eyelashes and the tint fades faster than the lift. For me, it’s something that helps me feel prettier and more aware when I’m makeup-free, but if you’re used to wearing mascara, I don’t really consider it a replacement. (I have very long, naturally curly lashes, and they look super curly with the lift, but they don’t look thicker unless I add mascara.)

20 minutes, wow! I loved the effect of the lift and tint but spending over an hour with my eyes shut was too much for me to consider it as a frequent procedure for me. I am going again in prep for a vacation.

Good to know, it’s something I was thinking of but I see it will be money wasted on my lashes. Mine are like most of my body hair, very thin, very short and very pale (for some reason, during puberty, my ashy blond hair turned brown but my body hair (arms, legs, eyelash and eyebrows) stayed very blond. I tried extensions before with mixed results (I have very little eyelashes and they’re quite separated from one another so since you simply attach extensions to your existing lashes……it wasn’t dramatic for me, just more obvious that I had very little lashes). So falsies are the way to go when I have a special occasion. You do what works!

I LOVE lash lifts! I got my first one just before my baby was born because I knew I wouldn’t be wearing much makeup, but didn’t want to commit to the upkeep of extensions. I’ve continued to get them as needed because, much like extensions, they help me to feel more put together even on the days I’m wearing pajamas all day. I do have fairly long, thick lashes & the effect is pretty worthwhile for me.

Thank you so much for this post! I’ve been considering a lash lift for a while now, but hearing that oil-based products will make the lift fall flat sooner already has me less interested. Also, It seems like the same result as just curling my lashes every day, which is free 😉
