I love taking a long, cascading string, picking it up and placing it over the top of the plant. No need to cut it! Eventually, the stem will begin to root into the soil. This is an excellent option for making the top of your plant fuller. Good luck!

I did only once and my plant got root rot and it was a goner. I plan on trying again because I love this plant.

I have a question/comment about propagation. I would like my pearls to be fuller in the pot and not so many strings coming down, at least until it matures a little. So I’ve been experimenting with just taking one or two strings and swirling them around the center of the plant without cutting it. So far so good it’s getting fuller but a little crowded. Would it be better to cut some strings and put them around plant middle?
I just would like it to be fuller, so any suggestions and comments would be great. Thanks Sonya
